Roles and Responsibilities
Drive the design of intuitive and usable application interfaces from conceptualization to implementation.
Determine how users interact with an application and how the application should look and flow.
Define the information architecture and interaction designs to solve our user's needs.
Enhance existing designs with new concepts, designs, and user experience best practices.
Skills
Visual Design -- Your creativity can turn ideas into high fidelity mockups.
Interaction Design -- Your logic can map out complete user workflows.
Usability Testing -- You can take feedback and effectively iterate, iterate, iterate.
Prototyping (HTML & CSS) -- You can help build what you design.
Requirements
A portfolio that clearly communicates successful implementation of user-focused design solutions.
Ability to think creatively, produce ideas, and recommend solutions that can be expressed visually and explained eloquently to project stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills, communication skills, and attention to detail. It bothers you that this sentence doesn't have a period at the end
Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and browser compatibilities.
BA/BS in related field (design, information architecture, etc.) or equivalent experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
