Clinical Social Work Position Boston Children's Hospital Primacy Care @ Longwood
This fulltime clinical social worker will work in Primary Care as part of the on-call team covering the clinic and with the Advocating Success for Kids (ASK) program at the Bowdoin Street Health Center
The ASK team consists of developmental-behavioral pediatricians, psychologists, social workers, and educators who work to address the developmental, learning, and/or behavioral needs of children to optimize school functioning. The on-call social work team provides clinic wide coverage to address child protection concerns, behavioral health assessment and treatment and crisis intervention.
The social worker in this position will collaborate in assessment and treatment, provide school and resource related advocacy and care coordination to a diverse group of children and families. This position provides an opportunity to participate in program evaluation and research studies.
LICSW supervision provided.
Evening hours required
Requirements:
Master's Degree and Licensure in Clinical Social Work
Experience working with children and families
Interest in providing care to underserved populations
Ability to work in a fast pace setting, managing tasks in a timely manner
Enthusiasm, optimism, and self-motivation
Bilingual Cape Verdean Creole/English a plus

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
