Major Responsibilities
Oversee and implement the firm-wide social media strategy. Recommend changes to strategies based on
quantitative and qualitative analysis
Manage social media account profiles for Twitter, LinkedIn, corporate blog, Instagram and YouTube.
Responsible for corporate blog schedule and for producing posts on time with the agreed upon frequency
Conceive, propose and execute social media campaigns
Independently account manage projects related to furthering social media platforms, usage and goals.
Work actively with the sales team and global key accounts to aid them in their efforts to connect with clients
Work with PR team to raise firm awareness
Work with community partnerships and sponsorships internally and externally for a social media promotion
strategy
Increase acceptance of social media as a viable marketing and customer channel within the firm
Track metrics for social media channels weekly and monthly through various mediums
Actively track improvements that could be made on social media channels and how we could expand our
strategy
Develop new strategies for amplifying Marketing and PR events through the innovative use of social media
Experience/Skills
o Must possess a Bachelors Degree
o Must possess a commanding knowledge of a wide range of social media platforms: Facebook,
Google+, LinkedIn, Twitter, blogs, Instagram, etc.
o Must have a thorough understanding of concepts relating to marketing and social media marketing
(ROI, SEM, Metrics, etc.).
o Must have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills while being highly proficient
with social media channels.
o Proven project management experience.
o Experience in delivering content via social media for a regulated company is preferred.
o Financial service industry experience is a plus.
