Our client is an industry leader specializing in innovative learning, research and teaching solutions for markets worldwide. The Global Product team is looking for a Jr. Project Manager to manage the conversion of Adobe Flash files to HTML5.
The Jr. Project Manager would be responsible for the management, production and delivery of digital media products on time and within budget. This position will allow a Jr. Project Manager to work with cutting edge technology in the downtown area of Boston. The manager promotes a healthy work environment with collaboration, creativity and high energy. This is a great opportunity for Project Coordinators or Sr. Business Analysts looking to transition into a Project Manager role!
Required Skills:
-2-5 years of project management experience
-Experience working on a large conversion project is a HUGE plus!
-HTML and/or Adobe Flash experience is a must! Candidates do not have to have hands-on experience but they must have a very good understanding
-Experience working in an Agile environment is required
-MS Project is required
Role:
-Create and manage project plans and schedules
-Work with vendors and outside resources for the development of products
-Manage schedules and production plans assigned by stakeholders
-Create and present project status reports
-Schedule meetings, maintain and distribute meeting minutes
-Effectively communicate across the project team and to other departments and senior executives about the project status, schedules and technical information
Contractors:
Contractors who are a great technical and cultural fit are often extended past 6
months. Pay is competitive.
