Job Details:

This position performs routine and non-routine laboratory tests. Analyzes, records, and reports test results, conducts quality control when appropriate, and maintains equipment in working order.
Responsibilities:
Performs routine and non-routine laboratory tests including CLIA highly complex testing.
Records and reviews results to determine if additional testing is required and performs those tests as needed.
Performs troubleshooting of instruments, takes and records corrective action. Problems requiring advanced technical knowledge are referred to a higher level.
Participates in inter/intra laboratory committees, such as safety committee.
May orient and train new employees, students, and residents as needed.
May assist in the set up of new procedures, modification of existing procedures, update of procedure manuals, and evaluation of new products.
REQUIREMENTS:
Level of knowledge obtained through a Bachelor''s Degree in Medical Technology. A Bachelor s Degree in a related field with certification in one of the various Clinical Laboratory disciplines and one year of satisfactory work experience in an accredited clinical laboratory is acceptable.
ASCP or NCA certification required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
