Law Clerk - Intellectual Property (IP) (location - Boston, MA). Requirements: LL.M. (ABA approved U.S. law school and at least 6 credit hours in IP law. 6 months experience in job offered; Documented proficiency in Mandarin Chinese language (reading/writing) required. Duties: Research/analyze U.S. and Chinese IP law to assist in determination of IP and corporate causes of action and prepare legal research memoranda/statements of issues involved in U.S. and China in enforcing IP rights. Research Chinese laws and regulations regarding IP and related corporate matters, keeping abreast of changes. Factual/legal research to discover sales of infringing products sold via Mandarin Chinese language and English-language e-commerce websites. Research/analyze sales distribution channels of infringing products in U.S. and Chinese markets to analyze for potential trademark and/or copyright infringement. Assist with drafting correspondence in Mandarin Chinese language to be sent to Chinese sellers and Chinese Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to protect client intellectual property rights. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
