Wonderful opportunity at a renowned Boston area university for a driven, dynamic Executive Assistant to support the Senior Vice President (SVP). Seeking candidates with 5 plus years' experience and a great enjoyment for the EA role. Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, the ability to liaise and make decisions with an attention to detail and with good judgment in a fast-paced environment. Duties:
Serve as the primary point of contact for all essential matters pertaining to the SVP, and act as a liaison between the SVP and senior leaders, the SVP's executive team, external partners, and other stakeholders.
Responsible for developing an effective system for managing administrative needs.
Provide the planning and oversight to make certain that the SVP's time is effectively allocated and information is sufficiently presented to advance the priorities of the SVP.
Communicate professionally and effectively on behalf of the SVP both orally and in writing.
Manage relations with key constituents and communication with senior vice presidents, vice presidents, board members, deans, senior staff and their staffs to delegate tasks as appropriate.
Complete a wide variety of organizational support for the SVP including drafting and typing correspondence, and assist with everything from photocopying to preparing creative and dynamic presentations.
Assist with office operations and provide reception coverage when needed; contributing to strategic planning of common space and resources, and being part of a team that supports one another.


Requirements
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 plus years' experience working in an executive level office.
Previous experience in a higher education setting strongly preferred.
Must have strong organizational, communication (both oral and written), and interpersonal skills.
Must have excellent computer skills, experience with both PCs and Macs, and advanced skills with Microsoft Office applications - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.--and familiarity with mobile technology (iPhones, iPads, etc.).
Must be available for early morning, late evening, and occasional weekend work as required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
