Assists Actuaries in providing actuarial services, including development of reserves, pricing, financial and metrics reporting for Group Life and Disability products. Good communication skills with the ability to solve problems. Strong programming abilities.
Responsibilities:
Performs routine pricing and reserve calculations. Collaborates with finance, underwriting and product business partners.
Acquires a working knowledge of Group products and systems and develops proficiency in current spreadsheets and computer languages.
Passes actuarial examinations leading to Fellowship in the Society of Actuaries.
Assists in financial reporting, surveys, state and industry questionnaires and experience studies.
Assists in developing and pricing new products and features.
Assists in development and completion of special projects.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required, with significant concentration in mathematics. Some successful actuarial exam progress is required.
Position deals directly with various other functions within the business segment, including finance, underwriting, product, compliance and sales.
