A fast-growing bioinformatics company is seeking a talented bioinformaticist to lead the generation of informatics pipelines for genomic research. Responsibilities:
Lead the creation of quality informatics pipelines with operational efficiency
Lead proof of concepts of align and call solutions, and recommend best courses of action for research groups
Collaborate with developers to implement effective software solutions that leverage align and call practices
Qualifications
Career in bioinformatics, including high-throughput sequence data analysis
Hands on experience with align and call solutions (BWA, GATK, Noboalign, Isaac, etc)
Experience with next generation sequencing (NGS) platforms (such as Illumina, HiSeq/MiSeq and Ion Torrent)
Understanding of next generation sequencing in genomes, exomes and other targeted sequences
Education in bioinformatics or computational genomics preferred
Experience in programming languages like Java, Python and Jython preferred but not required

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
