The Territory Manager works to promote the best interests of the company, its products and services to the architects, designers, specifiers, kitchen and bath dealers, residential designers, builders, developers, builders, fabricators, millworkers and other design influencers in the region of New England.The Territory Manager's main goal is to build the relationships with the fabricator and millworker network, and ensure they quote the premium surfaces that the company promotes to the A&D end of the process for the commercial business. The Territory Manager also works very closely with the Kitchen and Bath dealers to ensure the premium surfaces are displayed and promoted to consumers, and co-ordinates the product orders with their associated fabricators.
Key Responsibilities include:

Identify and contact all strategic fabrication and millworker firms in the region and provide design, technical, installation, specialty program, pricing and general product knowledge for the promotion of premium surfacing materials sold by the company. The Territory Manager is the key contact person with the fabrication network in the region.
Provide design, technical, installation, specialty programs and product knowledge to the key influencers in the Kitchen and Bath firms to become the major contact and resource for them for our products and services in the region.
Update the CRM system on the contacts and projects developed on a daily basis. The information in the CRM is a key component of our customer base and reporting going forward.
Ensure that all fabrication, millwork and Kitchen and Bath firms are up to-date with product literature, samples, displays, pricing and availability.
Be responsible for generating and tracking the progress of product specifications from product selection through to installation - the Territory Manager is responsible for communicating the specifications to the fabricator network along with pricing, but the Territory Manager and Business Development Manager are both responsible for securing the business in the region.
Be responsible for promoting and reinforcing the company brand and quality products in the region with the said fabricator and millworker community, Kitchen and Bath Dealers and Residential Designers on a day to day basis with sales calls, communication and attending trade shows and exhibitions where necessary.
Work with the local builders, developers and their associated fabricators and millworkers to implement a Building Marketing Plan for the promotion of the premium surfacing materials for their various sites and developments.
Be aware of competitive products, pricing, offers, promotions and programs to determine competitive trends in the business for the region.
Qualifications:
College Degree, or equivalent experience.
At least five years of demonstrated ability in an architectural, commercial, business development, or sales environment.
Excellent technical aptitude is essential.
Exposure to the solid surface, engineered stone and granite industries, its practices and approaches is a must.
Handling objections by taking initiative and finding creative solutions is a critical key success factor in this position.
Ability to clearly communicate and manage performance is a must.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with prospect firm s key personnel is a must.
Demonstrate consultative selling skills is also a must.
Work independently with minimum supervision and have excellent time management ability.
Work in and adapt to a changing business environment. Identify opportunities for competitive advantage with new and existing products.
Team player who has a record of achieving company and team objectives.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Requirements:
Significant travel in the New England region is required to establish and grow the company brand and products, with some travel outside the region.
Must have own vehicle with valid drivers license and good driving record.
Must have updated Passport
Physical ability to lift and carry product samples weighing up to 40 pounds
Willingness to travel periodically beyond the region to attend sales meetings, trade shows and seminars.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
