The Information Security Analyst participates in the execution and monitoring of information Security related activities that safeguard Tufts medical Center s information and technology assets. Primary responsibilities include participating in the operation of existing Information Security programs, procedure development and standards documentation.
Responsibilities:
Operates formalized Information Security programs and processes such as Vulnerability Management, Third Party Assessments, Risk Analysis and Security requests
Supports the execution of Information Security programs such as Incident Response, Application Security, and Security Assessment of new technologies within the Program Management Office.
Develops and maintains documentation for supported processes and procedures.
Researches and prepares periodic and ad-hoc reports of Information Security program execution.
Performs ongoing research of Information Security related topics.
Works in close coordination with the Information Security Architect and IT Infrastructure team to define ongoing operational support of the program.
Maintains collaborative team relationships with peers and colleagues in order to effectively contribute to the working groups achievement of goals, and to help foster a positive work environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
Three years experience in Information System, specifically in active usage and/or support of Information Security systems and activities
Strong decision making and conflict resolution skills
History of working in collaborative, team-oriented environments with a commitment to results and a proven track record of accomplishments
Healthcare experience preferred; Software Application Support experience preferred
Supplemental education in Information Security Program Management preferred
Ability to work in an unstructured environment, effective time management skills, logical problem solving and analytical skills with demonstrated attention to detail.
Ability to understand importance of and respect for the confidentiality of patient and provider information in accordance with applicable contractual obligations, standards and regulations.
Highly self-motivated and self-directed.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Associates Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
3 or more years progressive experience in similar healthcare environmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
