The Finance Division reports to the Chief Financial Officer and consists of some 3,000 employees worldwide.
Finance protects the Morgan Stanley franchise by serving as guardian of the Firm's books and records, and by contributing to firm wide risk management and risk reduction.
This division maintains relationships with Morgan Stanley's various industry and government regulators, and also serves as the conduit of financial information to the outside investment community.
The role will reside within Investment Management Finance which is a team dedicated to providing support to Morgan Stanley's Investment Management segment (MSIM) a leading global asset manager across the public and private markets.
Members of the Investment Management Finance team can expect to be involved in accounting, finance and process transformation.

Qualifications:
You Will:
> Provide support to independent internal and external interim and year-end audits, standard and ad hoc revenue and pricing analyses, enforcing policies and procedures, and streamlining processes> Ensure revenue is being recognized properly and communicate issues promptly for follow-up with internal partners and clients> Interpret and implement complex billing and revenue recognition arrangements, consulting with management, other areas of Finance & Accounting and the business as needed.
> Oversight of team's month-end close responsibilities, performing analyses and reviews, ensuring controls are executed to verify completeness and accuracy of monthly revenue, and ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, internal policy and any other applicable rules and regulations.
> Manage, develop, and perform various fee revenue analytics utilizing Hyperion Essbase/Smartview, Bonaire Revport business intelligence (BI) reporting, Tableau and other query and reporting tools as necessary> Provide financial support and analysis for product pricing, sales team compensation, business planning and Institutional strategic initiatives (domestic and international)> Ensure internal control practices comply with Sarbanes-Oxley, internal policy and any other applicable rules and regulations> Assist in the evaluation and testing of the Company's internal controls in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley> Support independent interim and year-end audits.

> Preferred undergraduate degree in accounting with 3
years of relevant finance and accounting experience > Previous Institutional/High Net Worth (HNW)/Retail Managed Account client billing and accounts receivable experience a plus> Experience with SAP general ledger software a plus> Experience with Bonaire Revport Fee Billing application a plus> Desired strong communication (verbal and written), organizational, and analytical skills > Preferred strong computer skills (notably Excel).
Experience using Hyperion Essbase a plus> Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively with members of the senior management team and others within the CompanyInterested in flexible working opportunities? The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
