Our product, the MyoPro, allows people with paralyzed arms to regain movement - it is amazing! The innovative MyoPro product was developed at MIT, with clinical trials conducted at Harvard Medical School; our organization demonstrates that the brightest minds can achieve great results for patients.
Most of our patients suffered from a stroke or a brachial plexus injury (BPI), as those are the most common causes of paralyzed arms and hands.
If you take pride in your work and want to make a positive impact while helping others, we want to hear from you.
What does our product do?! Our product is the 1st of its kind, and it supports patients who have lost function in their upper limbs.
With our product, patients can regain movement in their arms and/or hands.
The MyoPro works by reading the faint nerve signals from the surface of the skin, without the need for implants or surgery, and activating small motors to move the arm and hand as the user intends.
The user wearing the brace is in complete control of their own hand and arm, the device simply amplifies the weak muscle signals to help move the limb.
Some users have said that it feels like their own motion.
Our name is derived from this; Myomo is short for My O wn Mo tion! Find out more about us at:
