Applicants must be at least 21 years old, cpr & first aid certified, have a minimum of 3
years of relevant professional experience, and be looking to grow with the family long term.
General responsibilities will revolve around all thing's child related (feeding, diapering, children's laundry, washing/sanitizing bottles, cleaning up after the children, etc).
The older child is in school (except for afternoons), so the majority of care will be for the baby.
Pick up from school each day will be needed, and the school is a short walk from the home.
The family would love for their nanny to be engaging and creative about planning developmentally appropriate activities and outings.
Applicants should be dog friendly.
Candidates should be comfortable with travel (both domestic and international, so a valid passport is required) and be willing to accompany the family 4-5 weeks out of the year.
Comfort with swimming is a must! Driving is not required for the day to day so applicants that use public transportation are preferred as there is no assigned parking available.
Driving is sometimes needed while on vacations so candidates should still have a valid license and clean driving record.
Ideal candidates will be energetic (able to keep up with an active 3-year-old), punctual, trustworthy, compassionate, and strong communicators.
The family is hoping to find a nanny that can be intuitive to what needs to be done and also willing to follow the baby's set schedule.
