Responsibilities:
Transport filled bins of clean linens Inventory of linen items on linen exchange carts, stationary linen carts, shelves, and closets.
Record the quantities of linen items Load linen items in cart, shelve or closet Transports filled linen carts to designated distribution locations throughout the Hospital Communicates with hospital staff Collect soiled linen from the laundry chute for return to the Laundry Receives daily delivery of bulk linen from the Laundry Safety and well-being of all employees, customers, and co-workers Reporting of all incidents in accordance with company policies Any other duties specifically assigned by a supervisor or manager Maintain cleanliness of linen room

Be able to walk throughout the hospital Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds Ability to stand for a long period of time, stooping and bending at the waist lift linens and supplies that weight up to 50 lb.

Push and pull wheeled linen bins and carts weighing in excess of 600 pounds.
Counting and using simple arithmetic Be willing to encounter infectious medical waste (i.

feces, vomit, blood) while wearing appropriate protective equipment Be at least 18 years of age Be able and willing to smile during every customer interaction Maintain uniform standards while around the account Be able to pass a criminal background check
