Research Fellow Stipend - Head & Neck Surgery

POSITION
Summary:
Proposes and undertakes a mentored project or challenge to explore various aspects of OHNS, gathers and analyzes data, prepares manuscripts and presents the outcome.
Essential Functions:
Read, analyze and summarize published literature
Undertake relevant coursework if required by mentor.
Attend relevant meetings
Mine data using available sources
Meet regularly with mentor to review project progress and milestones
Plan and deliver an abstract and submit a manuscript on the project to a peer-reviewed journal describing the project and results
Doctoral degree or equivalent (MD or PhD) or medical student working towards MD degree, plus 4 years of experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Possible lifting of 10 to 20 lbs., depending on nature of chosen project(s).

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
