Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing patients with respiratory disorders and providing appropriate treatment and care. This role plays a crucial part in helping patients with breathing difficulties.
Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments to determine appropriate respiratory care plans
- Administer treatments and therapies for patients with respiratory issues
- Monitor and record vital signs during treatment
- Educate patients on the proper use of respiratory equipment
- Collaborate with physicians to develop comprehensive patient care plans
- Assist in airway management and ventilator support as needed
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Experience working in an acute care hospital setting
- Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge
- Strong understanding of pediatric respiratory therapy
- Ability to manage airways and ventilate patients effectively
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience in respiratory therapy
- Familiarity with advanced airway management techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
