The Quality Assurance team is expanding and seeking a Software Quality Assurance Lead and would get to work within their Content Technology group.
Responsibilities:
Design, development and maintain test plans and automated test scripts to aid in functional, regression and performance testing.
Work closely with the software development team, testing software in all phases of the development cycle from early (and potentially undocumented) drafts to final shipping product
Review software documentation and user stories for testability and to ensure consistency with software features and performance.
Participate and be an active contributor in daily agile meetings, requirements/story review meetings, and design reviews.
Lead a small team of QA engineers (both local and remote) to estimate, plan, and execute tests against major functional areas of the application
Mentor junior QA engineers
Document test progress and incident tracking
Track issues found throughout software development lifecycle
Requirements:
Solid understanding of quality assurance and testing processes within an Agile environment
Knowledge of UI testing techniques and best practices
Experience with web technologies: HTML, Javascript, XML, CSS, SQL, etc.
Track record of developing and maintaining automation scripts using tools like Selenium, Fitnesse, Cucumber, or Jbehave
Excellent problem solving, planning and analytical skills
Strong communications skills with a demonstrable ability to interact and influence at all levels within the organization
Excellent documentation skills
Good working knowledge of application integration testing
At least 5 years experience in software quality assurance role
Experience with load/performance testing of web applications
Preferred:
Experience with JIRA
Mobile application testing experience
