Client Service Associate (Wealth Mgmt)

Job Requirements:
We are a boutique wealth management firm in the greater Boston area (Needham, MA) affiliated with the nation's largest independent broker-dealer providing financial planning and investment management services to affluent individuals, companies and small business owners. We are seeking someone with a passion for helping others who can assist in the on-going growth and development of the firm.
Responsibilities:
New Business Take a lead role in onboarding new clients by tracking new business from initial consultation through account funding and resolving any issues that arise. Focus on timeliness and accuracy in all steps of the onboarding process. Keep the Advisor and team members up to speed on pending business, production and progress.
Financial Planning- Assist in the collection, validation and analysis of financial data to be input into financial planning software. Develop initial planning recommendations as well as ongoing net worth monitoring.
Client Service Work directly with clients to answer questions, provide information, resolve issues and ensure overall satisfaction. Assist in problem resolution, including advising clients on how to use the firm's website and financial planning portal. Act as an Advisor liaison with the firm's various business partners and the Home Office.
Marketing - Become proficient in the use of the firm's Customer Relationship Management database program to retrieve key information, facilitate client mailings and manage various prospective client lists to track referral sources and new revenue. Assist with client events and new marketing initiatives as needed. Facilitate social media activities including monitoring the firm's social media presence.
Project Management- Assist in the preparation of client proposals, analyses and presentation materials. Complete operations and service tasks as requested and train to be competent in all areas over time. Interact with other team members to coordinate the delivery of service to clients.
REQUIREMENTS:
To succeed in this role, candidates must have the following:
Relevant Experience - prefer candidates who have worked directly with a financial advisor, financial planner, broker or insurance agent, preferably in a supporting capacity. Will also consider candidates with more general financial industry experience who can demonstrate a mastery of skills required to be successful in this role.
Bachelor's Degree
Computer Skills - Must be proficient in MS Office, CRM applications, internet research. Experience with EMoney Software & ACT! a plus
FINRA Series 6 or Series 7, Insurance License a plus
Communication Skills - This is a client facing role via phone, e-mail and in-person. Ideal candidate will have excellent writing skills, a pleasant phone manner, a friendly and approachable demeanor, can-do attitude and polished professional appearance
Client Service Aptitude - Our business is most successful when our clients are happy, so we need people on our team who provide the highest level of service to consistently exceed expectations.
Time Management - Be able to prioritize an ever-changing workload and multi-task effectively to meet deadlines while maintaining a high quality work product.
Organization Skills - This is a very fast-paced environment, so candidate must be able to work on and keep track of several things at once, ensuring that tasks are completed and goals are reached in a timely manner. Must have an excellent eye for detail and be organized.
Compensation will be based on experience and level of proficiency in required skill sets.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
