Dr. Edlow's basic and translational research in the Vincent Center for Reproductive Biology (VCRB) focuses on neurodevelopmental programming effects of maternal obesity and maternal high-fat and other dietary conditions in pregnancy. The work is primarily with a mouse model of maternal diet-induced obesity and includes both embryonic brain work and work with juvenile and adult offspring brain assays and neurobehavioral.
