Overview The Vice President (VP), Salesforce Sales will be responsible to lead the team in achieving top line revenue growth and maximizing EBITDA. S/he will develop and execute sales, services, market strategy activities with a focus on driving profitable growth of the region. The VP is responsible for leading and creating an inspired team to be successful in both new client acquisition and strong account management. S/he will lead by example in mentoring teams and developing and closing new business. The VP will foster innovation, energy and teamwork; celebrate success, and reward those that go above and beyond. The VP is a customer facing leader that must understand and effectively communicate all portions of the business to all internal and external stakeholders. The role requires a deep knowledge of both the technical and marketing sides of the business. Territory, account and opportunity planning are critical aspects of this role along with pipeline management and forecast accuracy. In addition, the VP is a member of the Salesforce practice leadership team. Top responsibilities include:
Customer relationships Top line revenue growth Services growth Profitability Top talent attraction and retention Responsibilities Ensures profitability, growth, and direction Grows sales and services revenue/margins/profitability to meet/exceed revenue, gross margin and EBITDA objectives Spends a significant amount of time in the field with clients, Salesforce AEs and coaching the team Achieves best in class customer satisfaction, measured via Net Promoter Score (NPS) Creates an empowering environment where team members are passionate to succeed and motivated to be individual contributors and grow the business as a whole Participates as a thought leader in the industry, influences others to be successful in creating market partnerships and is recognized as an innovative market leader Acts as the customer advocate in understanding customer business challenges and brings forth creative solutions Manages to SG&A budget Institutes a professional and structured sales qualification and planning process Institutes a formalized forecasting process in partnership with the Financial Planning and Analysis team Works in close coordination with finance, HR and all support teams to ensure operational excellence. Supervises, coaches and mentors team members. Completes performance reviews in accordance with company policy for any eligible direct reports Qualifications Undergraduate degree in business, IT, finance or experience and educational equivalent Eight to ten years of sales and services management experience Minimum 2 years selling multi-tenant cloud solutions, in Salesforce ecosystem Knowledge of the marketplace and delivery of Salesforce solutions Experience in managing and navigating Salesforce sales teams Well networked, proven successful sales track record, collaborative work style, and consultative selling experience Strong presentation, oral and written communication skills are essential
Salary Range:
$250K -- $500K+
Minimum Qualification
Sales Management & Operations, Sales EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
