Overview The IT Cybersecurity Senior Director is a member of the Chief Information Officer (CIO) organization and positioned strategically to IT Security for the organization. We are looking for an individual with strong security domain expertise and a background with IT Operations. This role aims to improve the overall IT security maturity in a manner that is measurable and scalable. The IT Cybersecurity Senior Director sets the strategic direction for security governance for IT Cybersecurity and IT assets. The individual must have proven leadership skills and possess a high level of accountability for achieving organizational results. This role requires strategic expertise and a strong business acumen to proactively develop integrated and innovative solutions to protect our employees and assets. What You'll Do Responsible for strategic and tactical improvement/expansion and implementation of measures to mitigate security risks in the areas of responsibility. Responsible for reporting, analysis and implementation of an IT security program that includes continuous assessment of program risks, opportunities and/or vulnerabilities. Responsible for setting strategic direction for IT assets and demonstrating levels of compliance in a manner easily understood by executive leadership. Evaluate valuation and design of security systems, policies/guidance in support of evolving risk mitigation efforts. Partner with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and InfoSec personnel to align on objectives, initiatives and strategic direction. Identify emerging and supporting technology, create business cases and/or make presentations for change to executive leadership. Work with team members to develop specific behaviors, skills or knowledge needed to ensure sustained performance and to prepare for success in new responsibilities. Train IT and other cross-functional teams on IT security best practice. Partner with cross-functional leaders and teams. Lead a team of security professionals. Who You Are 5
years cybersecurity experience in operations, project management and/or program management . 3
years of direct experience in a significant leadership role. CISSP / CISM certified, preferred. Strong leadership skills and ability to lead and horizontally-manage cross-functional teams . Experience interacting with and influencing executive management and cross-functional teams . Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills Excellent communication skills Experience in IT. Highly developed organization skills with the ability to smoothly handle rapidly evolving, multi-dimensional negotiations under strict timelines . Strong understanding of asset related KPIs, analysis, operational tracking and reporting . Education:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Management, Operations Management or related experience . Excellent written and verbal communication skills . Ability to manage multiple priorities . Strong problem solving ability.
Salary Range:
$250K -- $500K+
Minimum Qualification
Systems Architecture & Engineering, IT Security, Technology ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
