Summary We are looking for a dedicated UX designer focused on building a best-in-class product experience to scale across the F5 Security Product Group (SPG). The practice areas with F5 Shape design are focused on building a center of excellence. Have to achieve this by evolving our F5 design system, developing research fundamentals of understanding our customer experience, and inclusive design practices. Naturally, you collaborate with co-designers, product teams, engineering, quality assurance team, and others to stay aligned with the product strategy, user expectations, and business objectives. We are an exciting international team that works in the heart of F5, operating across organizational boundaries with touch points to all continents and cultures! This role can be successfully performed remotely from any US location. Primary Role and Responsibilities You have to design a task flow into a rapid wireframe and Sketches integrated feedback from the product team and end-users. You should grasp and synthesize highly sophisticated issues and translate them into clean, focused, understandable solutions. Interest in security/fraud/risk space, analytics, new technologies in web, mobile, and other devices. You are a great collaborator and excellent communicator, developing and presenting design ideas in a large/medium team environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Product Management, Quality Assurance, and others. Prior experience working within a technical environment is a key responsibility. You should translate business requirements into user goals and needs into UI designs. You should possess outstanding visual and user interface design skills and user-centered design principles. You have an affinity for consistency, F5 brand color use, typography, and a good eye for aesthetics for subtle details. Participate and contribute in setting the long-term vision for our products and F5 designer community their user experience. Take ownership of the entire feature set of design responsibilities. Able to perform research activities, heuristic evaluations, and usability studies under lean UX process. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities A critical eye for details, demonstrates creativity and innovative problem-solving skills. Experience designing UX/UI products from conception to completion, including the development process. Communicate concepts and designs through sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups/comps, and prototypes. Function both independently and in a team environment with solid collaboration skills. Positive contributor to effective teamwork. Able to work in an iterative design process, motivated by group critique. Should have excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design work to large groups and interpersonally. Ability to prototype in Figma, Adobe XD, Framers or other tools and able to adopt new craft. Experience in designing for accessibility and responsive design. You have a portfolio that displays a spectrum of creative design solutions. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Human Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Media Arts or similar; or equivalent experience. 8
years of experience with a focus on product UX design across a variety of platforms (not including College coursework). Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Design & UXEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
