Application Marketing Manager - NAM eMobility at Schneider Electric in Boston, MA

Mission Expansive knowledge of the eMobility market, its trends, and the role of the different players in its residential, C&I, and fleet application ecosystems, including direct and indirect competition Strong network connection to customers in the eMobility value chain, knowledge of the various roles these stakeholders play throughout the industry Capture the voice of the customer, engage with customers to understand pain points, needs, and ideas around each application, as well as understand the evolution of those needs, followed by testing assumptions Examples:
Charge Point Operators, EV drivers, electricians, and installers, charging manufacturers, specialist system integrators, automakers, fleet operators, municipalities, etc. Research and document country and regional specific codes, standards, requirements, and government subsidies to use them as input for offer innovation Monitor connection between smart meters and chargers, OCPP communication Document the eMobility residential segment, analyze the value chain and propose solutions where Schneider can create value for the customer and our via a documented financial case. Define & prioritize segments, use cases, stakeholders, and user stories around application marketing roadmap Structure application releases, and agree on those with the commercial, launch, and development teams Animate the evolution of the roadmap and the content releases, the protocols, processes and tools defined for it Propose the relevant development projects that will differentiate Schneider and create value for the customer and Schneider, packaged as an end-to-end solution to our customers (full stack of Software, Services and Hardware, and throughout the entire customer journey) Drive offer creation in close collaboration with the relevant offer owners, feeding the application roadmaps accordingly Support demand generation of end-to-end solutions by providing front offices and commercial team with the right docs, tools, and social media contents, as well as training programs Facilitate customer awareness, interest, value proposition understanding and alignment with his problem to be solved, and decision to work with us, placing special focus on the construction of customer success stories Become the single point of contact for all eMobility marketing application topics for other lines of business (LOB) and teams (exposure to VP, SVP and EVP) Leverage and maintain a relationship with the relevant Schneider lines of business & divisions that will execute the relevant offer creation/evolution projects (Home & Distribution, Power Distribution, Wiser, etc.) Contribute to business intelligence by analyzing competitors, startups, and stakeholders in each application Define with Business Intelligence team the right set up to tackle future opportunities How you'll enrich our team Bring the EV market view inside the organization guarantying a customer centric approach and a fast integration of market needs Define the end-to-end application needs for e-mobility, with a customer centric approach, at each step of the value chain Design the related system and reference architectures to answer application needs combining the full technology stack Define each level of the system, the bricks specifications as well as the interface needs Integrate the local code and standard specification to ensure the compliance of the architectures Ensure the system consistency across lines of businesses, making sure the specifications are understood and integrated in the LoB roadmaps Manage the application architecture readiness and roadmap, across the stack Together with Marketing, define the business model and marketing mix of the end-to-end solution, at each step of the value chain Create marketing assets and sales enablement to engage sales at each step of the value chain Accountable for the performance of the application deployment Be the application single point of contact for the segment organization and architecture organization Work closely with the codes & standards influence team to give input and understand how code and standard are evolving Qualifications Background Characteristics Undergraduate degree required; Master's Degree in Marketing (M.B.A is a plus) or equivalent industry experience desired Minimum 5 years of experience in application marketing function CAPEX and OPEX marketing roadmap development Project Management and functional management experience will be valued Strong influence and leadership skills, for sharing vision and C-level exposure Marketing offer management and MarCom skills Functional management and project team management Innovation culture and methodologies (Design Thinking, Lean Startup, Agile) Residential, C&I, and fleet application knowledge eMobility market and ecosystem knowledge is a plus Entrepreneurial and creative mindset Passionate about innovation and working with collaborative teams Ability to connect, inspire and convince others A driver who possesses the ability to take actions and implement effective solutions in a timely manner A team player and builder, receptive to ideas from others, with excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to interact successfully with all levels of management as well as a diverse work force Ability to integrate technical department policies with business strategies with excellent planning, execution, and project-management skills Resilient, quick paced, and confident enough to challenge the status quo
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
