Business Trends Brand Lead The global Business Trends team acts as a centralized business analysis team. We are experts on the business drivers that determine each of our global market's business health (including, but not limited to, traffic, revenue, profit and operational metrics). We build tools, processes and partnerships both to quickly triage blockers to growth and push on the highest impact levers to amplify business performance. We are focused on building and evolving the right set of reporting and communications to continually strengthen, improve, and drive site conversion and customer traffic. We will do this by focusing the executive team on the right drivers of success, closely tracking performance against these drivers, and partnering to help drive roadmaps to focus on highest impact opportunities. What You'll Do You are an extension of the Executive team for one or more of Wayfair's brands, owning and monitoring overall business performance metrics. There is a big dose of internal consulting in this role as your job is to be figuring out (a) what's going wrong and (b) even if nothing is wrong, what could be going better? You aren't just reporting; you are creating new and better ways to look at the business. You are incubating new metrics on the team that change our understanding of the business and ensure prioritization (and de-prioritization) of right items. You will play product and project management role around reporting, issue resolution, deep dive performance investigations, and proactive opportunities. This includes partnering across teams and geographies taking an operator mentality in driving business analysis and strategy forward. You own recurring executive performance reviews and updates (incl. with senior C-suite executives). You drive the agenda, create and contribute to executive communications and readouts, and ensure the executive team is fully up to date on business performance. What You'll Need 5-10 years' experience in consulting and/or corporate strategy with a heavy analytical emphasis; MBA preferred with 2-5 years of post-MBA experience Highly analytical problem solver and comfortable in data-driven business environment; strong command of Excel; SQL preferred, but not required. Ability to communicate effectively across all levels, including senior management; exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills that can be tailored to internal partner Proven experience and passion for working across functions and with C-level leaders, synthesizing multiple points of view and owning a coherent action plan, all while negotiating and influencing others About Wayfair Inc. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
