We are a diverse, multidisciplinary team of world-class designers who work together with product managers, engineers, and analysts to define problems and solutions in a cross-functional, agile way. What You'll Do You will support and influence product designers and cross-functional teams in building an efficient, transparent, smart platform for suppliers to handle strategic planning and day-to-day operations for high product availability, increased ship speed, and incident-free delivery. Success in this role is working together with your team and partners to define the strategy, operations, and communications that guide the team to build products that solve real supplier needs. Your Responsibilities Inspire and guide product designers working on complex B2B products with multiple workflows, data views, dashboards, and statuses in doing quality work Drive the experience from conception to launch, providing clear and candid feedback in a psychologically safe and equitable environment that enables people to learn and grow Bring a deep understanding of human-centered and UI design to the day-to-day work of product oversight, design discovery and execution, people management, and operations management Align with multiple teams to create cross-functional, user-centric design solutions that are scalable, reusable, and achievable within our technology standards Be an equal partner to other functions in architecting roadmaps for their scope, and effectively evaluating trade offs based on business, end-user, technical, and internal partner needs and objectives Drive a sense of urgency in the team to deliver work, emphasizing the use of lean tools and techniques to more rapidly deliver work What You'll Need 8
years of experience in a relevant role Deep understanding of design processes and managing people in a matrixed organization Expertise in understanding user goals, business requirements, and producing the right design deliverable to communicate ideas, insights, scope, relationships, interactions, etc. Knowledgeable about the different research tools and techniques with how to apply them at the right moment of the product life cycle Solid communication skills and balancing/negotiation of priorities with collaboration across multiple stakeholder groups and diverse audiences An online portfolio of case studies that demonstrates unfailing advocacy for the user, highlighting:
complex systems with workflows, data-driven approach, design operations, people management, and strategic thinking Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Information Architecture, or related field About Wayfair Inc. Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
Design & UXEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
