The Storefront Platforms team builds and supports platforms which collectively refer to the foundational services, technologies, frameworks, libraries, tools and design assets that support application development. We support organizations outside of Storefront that have a direct impact on the customer experience, as well as user-focused platforms, including the UI platform for all of our web applications. Our team is composed of the following nine groups:
Performance Engineering, Login & Authentication, Dynamic Page Architecture, Promotional Tooling, Frontend Platforms, Backend Platforms, Homebase, Content Strategy and UX Research. Mission:
Scale our infrastructure, systems, and assets to drive efficiencies as a world-class tech company. What You'll Do:
Create a culture of frontend quality via coaching, pair programming, design sessions, and code review Author and contribute to internal libraries that emphasize intuitive interfaces and composability Lead large-scale projects that influence how customers shop at Wayfair Together with our platform teams, push our frontend strategy to the forefront of industry best practices with regard to web standards, component breakdown, accessibility, cross-device design and code considerations, page rendering, and browser performance. Write code that is seen by millions of customers a day Collaborate with Design Leads and Product Managers to turn wireframes and mockups into responsive, consistent UIs that leverage and contribute back to our central React Pattern Library Use your expertise to guide developers towards idiomatic solutions Be a part of the team that is leading the market in delivering the most delightful customer online shopping experience for home furnishings in a quickly changing landscape What You'll Need A deep knowledge of JavaScript and its ecosystem, and experience developing large JS applications A deep understanding of a JavaScript state management library, such as Redux, MobX, or Apollo An understanding of CSS, HTML, and related concepts at-scale (responsive/adaptive design, accessibility, libraries and post-processors) A passion for UI, UX, and Design Systems and working with designers to create engaging and intuitive experiences across devices Up-to-date on the latest frontend and design technology, trends, and industry news Experience in leading product managers, designers, and engineers to define, break down, and collaborate on feature work A genuine believer in constructive and respectful code reviews, retros, and collaborative problem-solving as the bedrock of a healthy team and experience utilizing these as mentorship vectors About Wayfair Inc. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K

Software DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
