Senior Project Manager

SECTOR OVERVIEW Our Environmental Sector delivers comprehensive environmental solutions to meet the full project lifecycle needs of clients in renewable energy, oil & gas, transportation, and manufacturing industries. With one of the largest multimedia air and land permitting and compliance teams in the country, we support client success in manufacturing and industry, liquids delivery and processing, natural gas storage and delivery, power generation and delivery, and transportation projects. POSITION SUMMARY TRC's downtown Boston office has an immediate opening for a Senior Project Manager in our Engineering, Construction & Remediation Practice with a focus in the Massachusetts and New England regional infrastructure and transportation markets. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS Deliver responsive, high quality environmental/consulting services to TRC's key clients, including those in the Massachusetts and New England infrastructure/transportation sector. Budget, scope and schedule development, monitoring and adherence for tasks and projects managed. Management and development of technical junior staff. Profitably deliver and execute projects with high quality and high client satisfaction. Quality Analysis/Quality Control of key deliverables related to projects and tasks managed as well as projects and tasks managed by others. Responsible for implementation of firm quality procedures at project and task levels. Preparation of technical documents and reports. Maintain and grow existing client accounts. Mentor other environmental staff. Work with project managers on strategic pursuits, including proposal development and client meetings. Active participation in key trade organizations and in the marketplace. Identify and develop new business opportunities. Review RFQs and prepare proposals. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Strong communications skills both written and oral. Must be driven to lead project teams and market new clients. Must interface well with and develop a rapport and positive relationship with our clients and employees. LSP certification strongly preferred. P.E. / P.G. certifications are preferred but not required. B.S. in Civil, Environmental Engineering, Geology, or Environmental Sciences Minimum ten (10) years of environmental consulting experience with a focus on air, soil, ground water, water, wastewater investigation and remediation 40 hour HAZWOPER certification TRC is an equal opportunity employer:
