In this position, you will play a crucial role maintaining our fantasy player props and ensuring a best-in-class user experience.
We are looking for someone with experience as a sports trader and/or familiarity with sports gaming who can utilize their expertise to maintain accurate player props based on data tools, instincts and attention to detail.
This role reports to the Head of Trading.
This position can be done from our Salem, NH office, or remotely.
Responsibilities Utilize internal and external data sets and resources to formulate accurate fantasy player props for SuperDraft users.
Monitor fantasy props throughout their lifecycle and make necessary adjustments as required.
Manage risk and liability of fantasy props in accordance with SuperDraft's risk and trading standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Stay updated on league news, injury reports, and other relevant information to make real-time market adjustments.
Collaborate with the team to ensure fantasy props are adjusted in coordination with market consensus and user demand.
Assist in analyzing reports to ensure proper user profiling and identify key metrics for fantasy prop adjustments.
Collaborate with the operations team to enhance the user experience and provide valuable insights for product improvement Stay up-to-date with industry trends, including DFS (Daily Fantasy Sports) and sports betting, to develop prop formulation strategies.
Display a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuously seek opportunities to improve trading practices.
Demonstrate scheduling flexibility to accommodate major sport events, which often occur at night and on weekends.
Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience trading on a DFS or sports betting platform.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to calculate odds and assess market trends.
Demonstrated ability to work in high-pressure and high-volume situations.
Significant attention to detail.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Highly motivated individual with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Passionate about the fantasy sports and broader gaming industry and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
Possess expertise for a wide range of sports.
Familiarity with various sports leagues, including their rules, players, and recent trends.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines.
Adaptability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
