Sr. Outreach & Marketing Specialist - (Brockton, MA)

Why This Role is Important to Us:
The Senior Outreach and Marketing (O&M) Specialist promotes CCAs programs to individuals, community-based organizations and providers in a variety of settings.
The Senior O&M Specialist is responsible for screening prospective members, providing information, and completing enrollment applications.
The Senior specialist has proven that they are capable not only of closing enrollments but also of developing relationships with referral sources in their assigned territory.
They have demonstrated that they can develop longer term plans to increase referrals for prospective members from the organizations in her/his territory.
Not only are they servicing relationships that are current referral sources, but also cultivating relationships that will take time to achieve their goals.
Senior specialist services priority CCA accounts and has demonstrated ability to address issues for providers that are outside of O&M department.
What You'll Be Doing:

Perform all enrollment related activities; such as identifying potential prospects, screening leads to ensure eligibility requirements, setting up in-person appointments, explaining the program, completing enrollment applications, and submitting enrollments to CCA.

Develop a database and map of organizations in assigned territory, develop relationships with front-line and managerial staff at those organizations, provide regular information to those organizations and keep in touch to generate referrals to CCA.
Constantly evaluate the effectiveness of those relationships; identify opportunities for more senior level staff to assist in relationship development.

Lead outreach and marketing activities for assigned territory.
Develop 6 to 12 month plans for a particular territory based on experience within that market, and coordination with others within and outside of CCA.
Report to workgroups outside of department on successes, barriers and risks to work plan.

Serve as account manager/primary contact for CCAs priority organizations, working with contact at outside entity to problem solve, report on enrollments and work to improve relationship and ultimately increase referrals.

Cultivate and maintain relationships with front-line staff and managers at contracted providers and community organizations.

Reach out to more senior level staff at community, municipal and provider organizations to introduce CCA.
Research best methods to contact more senior staff at those organizations.
As appropriate, escalate outreach activities to more senior staff within department and outside of department.

Develop in-depth understanding of CCAs programs including benefits, eligibility requirements, enrollment process, contracted provider network.
Give presentations to diverse and more senior audiences on CCA.

Interact effectively with CCA staff outside of the Outreach and Marketing department to facilitate enrollments and respond to member and prospective member requests in a timely manner.

Coordinate simple projects within the Outreach and Marketing department and with outside organizations.

Attend and assist with the planning of educational, outreach and other health related events.

Assure compliance and adherence with Medicare & Medicaid enrollment and marketing policies and procedures.
What We're Looking For:

Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
5-7 years experience - Associates Degree or equivalent education and experience; BA/BS Degree preferred
Must currently hold the Massachusetts Individual Health Insurance Producer License to be considered for the role at this time.

Thorough knowledge of Medicare & Medicaid services, marketing, enrollment policies and guidelines.

Experience in sales, marketing and customer service preferred.
Experience working with elders and disabled individuals.

Knowledge of healthcare systems/services and/or experience with community organizations, social services and public resources.

Must be a self-starter with a high level of accountability and responsibility.

Must possess exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills.

Must have the ability to work in a multicultural environment and perform outreach related activities in the community.

Must be able to work independently as well as within a team environment, be flexible, highly organized and be able to prioritize their work.

Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities and manage time effectively to achieve end results.

Strong written and computer skills required.
