Why This Role is Important to Us:
The Senior Associate is a business-critical, highly autonomous role within the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO).
The Business Analysis team is responsible for design, development, and documentation of business requirements required to support new systems, tools, and/or reports.
Reporting to the Manager, Business Analysis this role will drive improved customer (internal and external) outcomes through system and tool enhancements by leveraging understanding of the organization's core business processes and applying technical prowess to enable accurate and effective translation of business needs into functional and non-functional specifications.
The ideal candidate is a proven team player and individual contributor who takes initiative and is able to articulately converse with both business and technical resources.
He/she must effectively influence and gain consensus among key stakeholders (e.
g.
, business owners, vendors, customers, etc.
) on the requirements of a needed solution and validate the alignment of those requirements with the organization's strategic direction.
As a senior individual contributor on the team, the Senior Associate is expected to successfully lead projects of any size, scope, and level of complexity, directly engaging with senior leaders of the highest level.
He/she is also expected to mentor and guide more junior members of the team.

Key Responsibilities
Analyze business processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improved effectiveness.

Interview business stakeholders and other subject matter experts to elicit business rules, understand processes, information, and systems in use.

Conduct root cause analyses/ perform data investigations.

Create workflows, process documentation, use cases, activity diagrams, and other business process modeling methods and tools as applicable
Detail the consequences of not making a change/make recommendation for solutions or improvements (Including but not limited to technology changes).

Gather high-level customer business needs and translate them into functional requirements, use cases, workflow diagrams, wireframes, and other forms of documentation.

Evaluate and document the business needs of the future solution (develop business requirement documents).

Act as primary liaison between key business stakeholders (e.
g.
, management, customers, end users) and software development/IT team from design/initial requirement elicitation through testing and implementation
Provide subject-matter expertise in developing and designing effective solutions to business problems.

Mentor and, as applicable informally manage, more junior Business Analyst staff.

Assess solutions to validate performance
Facilitate measurement and evaluation of solution effectiveness.

Promote data-driven decision-making.

Research industry, regulatory, and technology trends to find opportunities to enhance CCA's solutions.

What We're Looking For:
Education Required:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience Education Desired:

Master's degree preferred Experience Required:

5-7
years of experience developing business requirements for new products and/or technical solutions
Demonstrated progression of leadership, responsibility, knowledge, and experience Experience Desired:

Health plan and provider experience strongly preferred
Experience with Waterfall, Agile and SDLC is plus.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to demonstrate HIPPA, Medicare and Medicaid Knowledge.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to influence others and drive consensus among key stakeholders
Ability to independently develop and deliver technically sound requirement documents with a high degree of detailed specificity.

Strong business acumen and organizational awareness
Self-starter.
