Global Events Marketing Senior Director

WHAT YOU'LL DO As a key member of the Global External Relations & Events team, the Global Events Senior Director will play a crucial role in shaping and executing BCG's flagship event programs, both BCG's proprietary client events and BCG's presence at major conferences.
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that these programs are aligned with our brand, maximise our visibility, deliver commercial value, and are flawlessly executed.
Your focus will be on delivering exceptional, tailored experiences for our clients and target audiences who engage with BCG at events, as well as for BCG's senior executives attending our events.
Specifically, you and your team will oversee, also in coordination with relevant Practice Areas, the management of our flagship event portfolio which includes:
Third-party programs such as CES, JPM Morgan Healthcare Conference, WEF Annual Meeting, MWC, Milken Global Conference, Cannes Lions, Code Conference, AWS Re:
Invent Proprietary programs such as the European CFO Conference, Emerging Markets Leaders' Summit, Global Airlines Conference Networks for leaders in Digital Transformation, Climate & Sustainability, and Operations Coordinating the cross-functional event team and working with the relevant event steering committee, you will oversee all aspects of the design, execution, and measurement of the event, including:
Programming - defining the strategy, objectives, delegation, setting up the event team and PMO, defining target audiences, event curation, speaker placements, and coordinating client engagement Amplification - crafting a compelling narrative for the event, identifying the key content supporting the narrative, and coordinating an integrated multi-channel coms plan across digital, media, social media Production & Logistics - sourcing, production, vendor and agency management, travel, accommodations, registrations, and invitations You will lead the day-to-day operations of the events team, providing guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities for team members.
You will be a member of relevant cross-functional marketing committees and/or projects.
You will serve as a subject matter expert for the marketing function and the broader organization, offering advice and support whenever needed, to ensure effective collaboration and enablement.
YOU'RE GOOD AT Project management and senior stakeholder management as you'll be owning programs end-to-end and will be required to propose and get buy in on the overall approach and define the required resources and timeline to deliver on the approach Event content and experience curation, including distilling the narrative and defining the event concept, format; and speakers to bring the narrative to life Developing innovative event formats to engage attendees and enhance their overall experience Relationship building with key external stakeholders (3rd parties, vendors) Developing and tracking client engagement programs at events to ensure the BCG delegation is maximising opportunities to meet with clients and targets at events Cross-functional teaming YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS) At least bachelor's degree with strong academic achievements required, ideally in marketing or business administration or other related subjects 15
years' experience in event curation, experience design and production in a global professional services or agency environment is essential 10
years' experience in a leadership role related to event management Experience and knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and tools Ability to interact effectively with a variety of audiences at all levels of seniority, across functions and geographies - a strong presence and experience in presenting to senior audiences Ability and experience working on a global team across multiple time zones Must have a positive and friendly manner, with a strong service orientation, high degree of flexibility, and the ability to work under pressure Proficiency in all software used at BCG; advanced Excel and slide-writing skills essential Good knowledge of BCG networks, processes and structures is a plus Willingness to travel YOU'LL WORK WITH A variety of teams across BCG, both inside and outside of the marketing function, including:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
