Marathon Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine is a privately owned, multi-location practice with a staff of physical therapists, massage therapists, athletic trainers, exercise physiologists, , CSCS, and personal trainers with a mission to provide high quality physical therapy along with Health & Wellness programs.
We currently have an opening for a part-time massage therapist to join our dynamic team.
5-20 hours/week based on ability to service single or multiple locations.
(Newton/Dedham/Norwood/Canton/Sharon/Easton) The ideal candidate is passionate about health and wellness Work with a varied population Availability to offer a flexible schedule - opportunity for expanded hours across multiple locations.
Desire to work in a team environment Must possess excellent skill in standard massage modalities (Swedish, Sports/Deep Tissue) Prepare and clean work area, ensuring clients are comfortable Develop and propose client treatment plans that specify which types of massage are to be used.
Follow health and safety rules, and give advice about aftercare.
Consult with other health care professionals and fitness specialists, such as physical therapists, personal trainers, and athletic trainers, to develop treatment plans for clients.
Maintain treatment records.
Licenses / Certifications / Registration according to Massachusetts requirements.
Must be customer service oriented and able to communicate effectively with clients, clinic management and staff.
Possesses the ability to promote products, services, and treatments.
Experience preferred, but not required.
Must provide professional references.
