Patient Care Associate (CNA), Respiratory Acute Care Unit, (36hr) Evening

sign on bonus eligible candidatesThe RACU/General Medicine is an eighteen-bed unit designed for the care of patients requiring focused pulmonary care and the care of patients with general medical diagnoses.
Under the direction of a registered nurse (RN), the Patient Care Associate (PCA) assists the multi-disciplinary health care team in clinical support functions to promote a safe, compassionate patient care environment.
PCA assists patients with daily living needs, monitoring & reading vital signs, drawing blood, and obtaining EKGs.
Responds to patient requests in a timely manner, safeguarding patient confidentiality, monitoring patient safety, and always communicating in a respectful manner.
PCAs will float between two units, Bigelow 9 General Medicine and Bigelow 13 RACU.
Certification as a Nursing Assistant or EMT at time of hire OR Enrolled in a certification program to become a Nursing Assistant or EMT at time of hire OR Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program Enrolled in a nursing or pre-med undergraduate program with at least one semester of patient care rotations complete at time of hire OR Successful completion of the Laboure College PCT program Massachusetts General Hospital is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
