If you are excited about quality and safety issues, the Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation and Cellular Therapy (HCTCT) Quality Project Manager in the Cancer Center is a great opportunity for you! The role of the HCTCT Project Manager of the Transplant & Cellular Therapy Program is an exciting job and it is different every day.
The HCTCT Quality Project Manager is responsible for the coordination of laboratory, apheresis, bone marrow collection, cellular therapy, and clinical program data for ongoing FACT accreditation.
This individual will be responsible for interfacing with the inpatient and outpatient clinician team, transplant and donor coordinators, data managers, pharmacists, processing laboratory administration and staff, apheresis staff, OR nursing staff, and will be integrated into the larger MGH Cancer Center Quality and Safety Team.
The HCTCT Quality Project Manager also serves as the MGH primary contact for Radiation Injury Treatment Network (RITN).
This is a Full-time, Hybrid (remote/onsite), 40hr, Day position, Mon-FriResponsibilities & Duties (include not limited to):
Management and oversight for issues around quality management for the Transplant Program Resource to interpret and implement FACT standards and facilitates reaccreditation process Work collaboratively with quality personnel from the CTTL lab and BTS apheresis Record review to audit various aspects of the Program First contact for RITN Responsible for updating policies and procedures and uploading into Ellucid Oversee quality issues related to bone marrow harvests and regularly attend procedures in the operating room Attend FACT, ASTCT, NMDP and other conferences Encouraged to explore and ask questions about how the service operates Education/Licensure/Certification 3
years of experience oncology RN experience required Hematopoietic Cell Transplant (HCT) and/or Cellular Therapy (CT) experience preferred Current Massachusetts licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred Certification in Oncology and/or BMT preferred Skills/Competencies:
Strong organization and interpersonal skills, with a capacity for analyzing and presenting data.
High degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
Self-directed and able to work independently Experience with performance improvement methods, including statistical concepts and applications preferred.
Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint applications), with ability to utilize spreadsheet and graphic programs to produce bar graphs and charts, are preferred for this position Massachusetts General Hospital is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
