FP&A Compliance Manager

Our client is seeking an FP&A and Compliance Manager.
The Manager will play a crucial role in the financial operations.
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the FP&A and Compliance Manager will be primarily responsible for operational analysis, ensuring accurate reporting, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
This position offers immense growth potential, with the possibility of advancing to the Corporate Controller role.
Key responsibilities for FP&A and Compliance Manager will include:
Operational Analysis:
Maintain and develop standard operating reports specific to the automotive industry, including MORs, semi-monthly forecasts, daily deal logs, and fixed ops reporting.
You will leverage your expertise in data collection and analysis, supporting more granular and accurate monitoring for our automotive operations.
Procurement Management:
Direct procurement activities related to our automotive operations, managing the AFE process, leading cost analysis and economization efforts, and coordinating vendor evaluation and contract approval processes specific to the automotive industry.
Compliance Leadership:
Take charge of our compliance program, ensuring the segregation of duties on key controls and providing necessary oversight for banking approvals and controller JE approvals within the automotive sector.
Accounting Support:
Support various accounting functions within our automotive company, such as annual audit and tax engagements specific to automotive industry requirements, policy administration, procedure development, account risk analysis, and balance sheet management summaries tailored to our automotive operations.
To thrive in this role, you should have:
Public Accounting
Experience:
Public accounting experience is highly preferred, or experience working as an accounting or finance manager in a publicly traded automotive company.
Strong Analytical Skills:
Your ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide meaningful insights within the automotive industry will be instrumental in this position.
Attention to Detail:
We need someone who pays meticulous attention to detail and ensures accurate and consistent financial reporting within the automotive sector.
Compliance Expertise:
Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements within the automotive industry, particularly in relation to GAAP and group policy compliance, will be essential.
