RN - General Medicine Unit

Seeking an experienced RN for this 26 bed adult population general medicine inpatient unit White 8 The patients on this unit represent a diverse adult population with a wide range of complex medical problems including cardiovascular, pulmonary, endocrine, neurological, psychosocial and infectious disease.
The nursing skills developed on this unit are endless; physical and psychosocial assessment, telemetry, complex dressing changes, peritoneal dialysis,etc.
Collaboration with other health care professionals across disciplines is fundamental to nursing practice on White 8.
Responsibilities include assuring competent, compassionate nursing care for specific patients and families.
The RN will collaborate with the Nurse Director and Clinical Nurse Specialist and other members of the Patient Care Team to achieve optimal Patient outcomes.
The Clinical Nurse Specialist role is unit based and that unique as compared to many other hospitals.
Staff nurses ensure that care is safe, efficient, effective, timely and meets the cultural, spiritual, and ethnic needs of each patient and family.

Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
BSN degree is strongly preferred 1-2
