Job Overview:

We have an opportunity for a Director of Performance Improvement/Quality.
Responsibilities:
In collaboration with our Corporate Office, The Director of Performance Improvement/Quality is responsible for Performance Improvement, Risk Management and Regulatory Compliance and develops the systems and procedures necessary to drive and expand efficient and cost effective operations across all hospitals delivery sites and business functions.
Maintains hospital wide compliance to all external regulatory agencies including, but not limited to The Joint Commission, CMS, Director of Fiscal Services, Hospital Association, and DPH.
This includes all internal and external requirements, surveys and standards, hospital and corporate regulations, state and federal requirements, which include Pay for Performance (P4P), Meaningful Use.
Ensures organizational compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
Provide both operational and strategic direction for functional areas with the capability to work with and through others to effect change and achieve outcome-based performance improvements.
Serves as a member of the senior leadership team and an active member of the peer review committee.
Oversees organizational readiness to ensure compliance with all regulating agencies.
Manages quality improvement activities for the organization and supports corporate initiatives.
Ensures ongoing improvement and surveillance activities are effective.
Integrates the measurement of clinical quality, risk management and service standards with those of strategic planning and operations management.
In partnership with the Hospital Administrator, Director of Patient Care Service/Nurse Executive, Chief Financial Officer and Chief of Staff, will help ensure clinical operations, financial systems, budgets and management reporting processes are fully integrated with the hospitals operations and support functions.
Qualifications:
Education Bachelor's degree in nursing, strongly preferred Masters in healthcare administration or related field, required.
Experience 5 years experience in performance improvement, quality/risk management Experience working in a healthcare environment preferred Other Additional educational workshops or courses in Performance Improvement, Risk Management, Patient Safety/Patient Satisfaction.
Experience with TJC/CMA, HIPAA, OSHA and DPH; teaching/training skills and experience facilitating process improvement.
Strong verbal and written communication skills Current full vaccination status required Recommended Skills Business Process Improvement Clinical Works Communication Content Management Finance Financial Management Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
