The HR Experience & Ops Strategy Manager will support prioritization of work across the Chewy HR Experience & Operations Team.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy, portfolio management, and delivery, with broad exposure across the HR function.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the operationalization of processes and tools which will drive strategic alignment and improve resource management to optimize the HR Experience & Operations Project and Initiatives Portfolio.
This role supports the intake, prioritization, and communication of work across the HR Experience and Operations Portfolio and is responsible for helping to develop and operationalize the deliverables strategy owned by the AD, HR Experience & Operations Strategy.
Core Responsibilities Include Support the operationalization of the input mechanism across the entire HR Experience & Operations organization.
Support the intake mechanism and prioritization of work that funnels into the HR Experience & Operations org and each associated vertical (e.
g.
, Experience, Operations, HR Shared Services, etc.
) Assess and score key activities, initiatives, and projects that are part of the HR Portfolio maturity model.
Research and track related work streams to feed maturity model.
Track the delivery of key OP1 initiatives.
Create summaries and templates to communicate the team's output and progress to share with internal stakeholders.
Identify and escalate issues as appropriate to AD, HR Experience and Operations Strategy.
Create relevant reports and summaries for the overall HR Portfolio status throughout the fiscal year with visibility to successes and risks.
Provide support for reporting mechanisms for the HR Experience & Operations org (quarterly reviews, HR MBR inputs).
Help to maintain integrated HR Portfolio and priorities roadmap.
Assist with creation of whitepapers, PRFAQs, communications, and other key documents that tie to overall HR Experience & Operations strategy.
Support the HR Experience & Operations organization to deliver results.
Assist with conducting activity studies / team effectiveness studies and provide data summaries for organizational design decisions.
Conduct relevant analysis and perform research on tools and initiatives related to HR Experience & Operations workstreams.
Assist with creation of LT meeting agendas and report outs, all hands decks, and key initiative whitepapers.
What You'll Need Bachelor's Degree Preferred or applicable experience Minimum of 5
years of corporate experience in HR, Project/Portfolio Management, Analytics, or related area (program management experience preferred) Accurate and detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills Strong oral and written communication skills Exceptional customer service focus (internal and external) Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities Self-motivated, positive attitude, flexible outlook, and strong ethical values Ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information Program Management Certification(s) preferred Proficient with Project Tracking tools such as Smartsheet/Jira Chewy is committed to equal opportunity.
