Duties &
Responsibilities:
The position will examine all products currently set up and determine best practices for standardization of product codes.
The position will use a variety of methods to determine the master product list, standard format and collection/use of vendor product information.
The position will spend time doing data entry and examining existing codes within that group across all locations.
The position will spend time examining pricing/costs and pricing structures within our system.
Other Competencies:
Ability to self-manage, show initiative and be proactive Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing to coworkers and customers Requirements:
Pursuing a degree in engineering/process, finance or computer science is preferred Minimum GPA of 3.
0 Relevant coursework or related experience preferred Excellent organizational skills Detail oriented Proficiency in Excel Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines Physical Demands:
Must be able to remain in stationary position 50% Frequently, will move about inside the office to access files, office machinery, etc.
Must be able to operate basic office machinery Must be able to communicate with team and management and be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
Constantly working in office environment Mental Demands:
Must be able to problem solve and prioritize tasks Must be able to manage stress depending on situations Must be able to multitask Must be able to receive and analyze information Must be able to quickly communicate solutions if problems occur Must be able to demonstrate a high degree of sound judgement Company
