Insurance Coordinator (Boston HQ)

WinnCompanies is looking for an organized and motivated Insurance Coordinator to join our team in our Boston headquarters.
Please note that this is a hybrid position.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting all activities related to risk management, insurance, claims and loss prevention for the Winn Real Estate portfolio.
You will serve as the Risk Management team's primary point of contact for all site operations, owners, vendors, brokers, consultants, insurance companies, and corporate functions.
Responsibilities Ensure compliance at all Winn-owned and/or managed properties with regards to obtaining and maintaining insurance coverage.
Collect, organize, and prepare project specific exposure information and loss data.
Request and provide Certificates of Insurance.
Distribute and track premium payments.
Report incidents to insurers.
Track project insurance and related litigation.
Ensure compliance with owner agreements and mortgage requirements.
Monitor vendor compliance.
Coordinate loss prevention inspections.
Process required documentation for site vehicles.
Respond to requests and inquiries from Property Managers, agencies, lenders, investors, and the Insurance Helpdesk.
Provide support to the Risk Management function.
Centralize all claims activity to assist in identifying trends to improve safety to our residents and employees.
Assist in completing applications for policy renewals.
Maintain all required insurance documentation.
Maintain corporate asset schedule for property insurance programs.
Record all incident reports in company database and provide reports to management as requested.
Maintain Winntranet Risk Management and Insurance site.
Work with insurance brokers and consultants.
Update database with environmental reports and provide reports to insurers as required.
Coordinate all required documents for Winn-owned master insurance program, fee-managed master insurance program, and owner insured programs.
Assist on special projects and assignments as needed.
Requirements Bachelor's degree.
3-5 years of relevant work experience.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
Excellent problem-solving skills:
ability to be proactive and think ahead to solve problems.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively to improve the operations of the team at large.
Preferred Qualifications Associates in Risk Management (ARM) designation.
4
years of experience in a real estate risk management department, insurance company, insurance brokerage firm or claims department.
