Director, Growth Strategy

As Director, Growth Strategy, you will join a team that drives value through strategy development, partnerships, and product management to grow Fidelity's small business retirement solutions.
You will work closely with the Head of Product, VP of Strategy & Partnerships, and key senior leaders across Fidelity to develop and grow new digital products.
The Team You will join an impactful product strategy group that is part of the Workplace Innovation product team for the Fidelity Advantage 401(k), a retirement solution within Fidelity's Emerging Businesses domain.
As part of this team, you will have a highly visible role, working closely with the Head of Product to ensure alignment and consensus from cross-company partners.
You will report to the VP of Strategy & Partnerships and work closely with members of the product team to incubate new opportunities, implement distribution partnerships, and perform research and analysis that will shape our strategic priorities, product requirements, and future roadmap.
The Work Fidelity Advantage 401(k)SM is a digital product that makes it easier and more cost effective for small businesses to offer a retirement savings plan by operating as a Pooled Employer Plan (PEP).
Launched in 2021, the product is rapidly growing and requires analytical, strategic, and bold skills, comfort with ambiguity, and a cross-enterprise approach to evaluate and recommend strategic product decisions, identify future priorities, and identify and develop new partnership and distribution opportunities.
You will perform research and analysis and develop insights to maintain a backlog of opportunities, including product development and new market expansion.
You will use strong verbal and written communication skills to gain consensus from Fidelity partners, as well as forge partnerships with third parties to expand our reach.
You will be committed to maintaining and developing your own expertise and knowledge to ensure you bring the latest thinking to your role.
The Expertise You Have o Bachelor's degree required o 10 years business experience in strategy consulting and/or product management, partnership development, and/or go-to-market at a startup o Experience working in a matrixed, cross-enterprise / business unit environment preferred o Financial services and/or strategy consulting experience preferred, but not required The Skills You Bring o Data-driven, analytically thoughtful, research-focused, and intellectually curious o Strategy toolkit with validated ability to frame opportunities to drive product decisions and make cases for change o Experience forging partnerships and/or business development o Excellent communication and collaboration skills to navigate cross-functional leadership and influence collaborators with a range of priorities o Dealing with ambiguity and interest in building new skills, such as business development and concept testing/incubation o Experience working on digital products and/or in a startup o Experience crafting and delivering executive presentations o Experience evaluating and/or building financial models including unit economics a plus The Value You Deliver o Communicate our mission and work with leadership and cross-company partners for consensus and provide clarity into our priorities o Pursue new business and strategic partnership chances to create new distribution channels and improve customer experience o Synthesize feedback from squad leaders, business partners, and clients to influence our goals, priorities, and vision o Implement research and analysis to evaluate cases, frame strategic decisions, and prioritize investment and prioritization o Identify and incubate new concepts to maintain a strong backlog of opportunities o Develop executive level communications for internal/external use o Establish and maintain positive relationships with product leaders to promote alignment, transparency, and an efficient operating model Company Overview Fidelity Investments is a privately held company with a mission to strengthen the financial well-being of our clients.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
