Per Diem - Crisis Stabilization Clinician

Why This Role is Important to UsCommonwealth Care Alliance is seeking a licensed, master's levels clinician to work at our Crisis Stabilization Unit.
As a leader on an interdisciplinary care team, the CCS Clinician provides direct services and varied administrative supports to CCA members admitted to the unit.
The CCS is an integral part of a continuum of Acute Behavioral Health Services at CCA, all with the goal of offering our members person centered alternatives to receiving treatment in traditional acute care settings such as emergency departments and inpatient units.
They will carry a small case load based on daily census and provide direct care including crisis intervention, treatment planning, running groups, case management, and discharge.
They ensure safety of all clients by proactively addressing escalating behaviors and supporting the care team in doing the sameWhat You'll Be DoingParticipates in Hiring, orienting, training, supervising, and evaluating the Mental Health Workers.
Completes and ensures that MHWs conduct and document admissions, treatment plans, client daily documentation, and discharge summaries.
sure that the unit follows the daily schedule of program activities, client meetings, and groups.
Oversight of therapeutic groups as leader, co-leader, and observer.
Maintains effective working relationships with insurers, SCFMHC campus police, DMH, ESPs, local community resources, and treatment/rehabilitation programs throughout the Greater Boston community.
Participation in daily rounds with multidisciplinary team and organizes follow up of identified issues for the unit and for the individual clients.
Compiles documentation for tracking systems for utilization, completion of treatment goals, client satisfaction, number and type of incidents, and outcome measures in order to meet program goals.
Ensures that safety protocols are routinely reviewed and followed consistently by all staff (such as emergency systems; identification and remedy of facility safety hazards; security systems; lock up of sharps and any potential toxins; hazardous waste management; checks protocols, checking vitals protocols, etc).
Performs all other duties and projects as assigned by supervisor.
What We're Looking ForLicense required:
LICSW or LMHCMinimum 4 years experience working in an acute mental health setting.
Demonstrated skills in working as an effective team player in a fast paced unit.
Demonstrated supervisory experience.
Excellent writing, computer, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as a member of multi-disciplinary and cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated ability to work in a pressured situation and maintain clarity, focus, judgment, and compassion Ability to provide leadership Ability to identify problems and initiate solutions to problems Ability to work with people in crisis in a hopeful and compassionate manner and model this for others Ability to work independently Recommended Skills Administration Behavioral Medicine Case Management Communication Crisis Intervention Hazardous Materials Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
