BostonJob summaryWe are presently recruiting for an Associate Director, Marketing to support the commercialization of our late-stage gene therapy assets with a focus on the US Market.
This position will require outstanding tactical marketing expertise to successfully execute upon new launches in gene therapy and new assets in late phase in our pipeline.
The position will be based in Boston, MA (as primary location).
Key Elements and Responsibilities o Execute upon marketing plans and develop appropriate tactics for HCPs and patients to support commercialisation in the US Market o Conduct market research that informs brand insights to improve the effectiveness of brand campaigns o Work with internal and external partners to translate strategy into effective marketing communications o Develop communications and training materials for the Advanced Therapy Account Managers and support execution of plans.
Maintain routine communications forums with team.
o Support development of marketing material for payers and patient services o Execute the marketing plan to address challenges and opportunities that are specific to the US market through assessing the disease burden, unmet needs & patient identification, competition, policy, access environment and key customers.
o Work collaboratively on KOL and congress strategy to drive brand and disease awareness o Optimize digital marketing tactics to deploy resources based on customer specific needs o Lead the marketing activities as part of launch executionRequired knowledge & experience o Minimum of 5 years marketing experience in the biopharmaceutical business with experience working in rare / ultra rare diseases o Pre-launch and in-line marketing experience within the US market o Ability to execute a launch plan with brand tactic executionSkills & Abilities o Demonstrated ability to develop business solutions within complex organizations and markets, leading sub teams in support of key marketing operations o Successfully navigate the internal structure and external environments to deliver value to our markets and key stakeholders o Effective operator with proven ability to create brand tactics and improve overall brand and disease awareness o Work effectively with cross-functional partners including research & development, medical affairs, regulatory affairs, sales, commercial operations o Business and financial acumen with strong analytical ability o Strong work ethic and ability to drive brand execution absent a position of authority o Clear communication skills o Demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity o Collaborative team approach that can leverage pre-existing brand collateral and adapt for the US MarketEducation o Minimum of BA/BS; Master's Degree or MBA PreferredOrchard is an equal opportunity employer.
