Job Title:
Associate Director, Market Access Analytics and EvidenceLocation:
The position is a hybrid-based role out of our Boston office with a requirement of 3 office days per week.
Job DescriptionAs Market Access Analytics and Evidence Lead this position will serve to lead analytics and evidence generation for the enablement of market access specific insights across our large and small molecule assets.
Application of analytics tools, syndicated and claim data to build new capabilities to drive enhanced access strategies, bid, and contracting decision making.
This newly created position is a vital and strategic role within our growing market access team.
As a key member of the market access team, you will actively monitor payer, IDN, policy, competitor, market conditions and contract performance via payer segmentation to inform critical decisions and shape future access strategies.
This role is primarily focused on the preparation for the launch of Galderma's first-in-class specialty biologic treatment, for atopic dermatitis and prurigo nodularis.
Key Responsibilities Develop and implement market access analytics plans, including budget management.
Identify business needs and propose potential market access analytics approaches to develop solutions.
Use business understanding to translate unstructured, complex business problems into the appropriate data needs, analytical models, and solutions.
Support ongoing and planned contracting strategy analytics (e.
g.
, analog assessment, patient flow analytics, simulations, etc.
) as well as maximizing pull-through effectiveness.
Inform brand launch readiness plans including analyses of payer, employer landscape, pricing/contracting; leverage syndicated and desk research to inform critical customer and competitor trends.
Inform and support pre and post contract evaluations collaborating with contract operations team, which may include analogue assessments, volume and geographic considerations, utilization management trends, customer and competitor intelligence gathering.
Monitor patient affordability trends with access and reimbursement analytics that can help inform contracting choices (e.
g.
, landscape and benchmarking, Patient Service HUB analytics, co-pay analytics and patient out-of-pocket sensitivity and modeling, etc.
).
Develop payer and channel performance reporting strategy, augmenting and streamlining current reporting.
Ability to lead external partners for US adaptation of Global health economic models (e.
g.
CEA, BIM).
Evaluate the economic value of products and therapies utilizing health economic data.
Translate complex analytics to communications that can help support Market Access strategies and tactics.
Propose and manage outcomes research studies and the development of models/tools.
Manage statistical analyses to develop and deliver outcomes research or reimbursement programs.
Skills & Qualifications Master's, PharmD, MBA degree with 5
years of data science, pharmaceutical science, business analytics, statistics, data mining, applied mathematics, engineering, computer science or related field experience OR Bachelor's degree with 7
years of data science, pharmaceutical science, business analytics, statistics, data mining, applied mathematics, engineering, computer science or related field experience.
Prior experience in HEOR, market access, and/or closely related areas within a pharmaceutical company or consultancy.
Exceptional analytics and technical data skills with creating and/or supporting complex models.
Strong understanding of the US payer and channel landscape.
Technical proficiency of U.
S.
drug reimbursement and access, i.
e.
, coverage, coding and payment is required.
Experience working with market access datasets (e.
g.
, LAAD, MMIT, etc.
) required.
Expertise with specialty pharmacy datasets and commercial datasets (Symphony, MarketScan, etc) preferred.
The candidate will proactively deliver advanced market access analyses and insights.
Travel requirements:
ability to travel up to 20% as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to communicate effectively to translate complex analytics to influence multiple stakeholder environments.
Experience in evaluating real-world data gaps and developing plans to help shape insights into strategy.
Strategic planning, execution, and project-management along with excellent analytical skills is required.
Ability to partner closely with market access strategy, payer marketing and field-based market access teams across payer and channel to identify and deliver on strategic analytical initiatives.
Experience and knowledge in statistics and advanced analytics preferred.
