Applicants must be at least 21 years old, CPR & First Aid certified, Flu vaccinated, and have a minimum of 3
years of experience.
Previous professional infant experience is required.
Covid vaccination is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities will revolve around all things baby related (bottle prep/washing/sanitizing, baby laundry, tidying up play spaces).
During down times when the baby is napping, the family would love some help with light household tidying (empty dishwasher, fold laundry, etc), but care for the child is the priority.
Candidates should be well versed in developmental stages and willing to provide engaging and stimulating experiences for the child to support growth.
The family would love for the nanny to take the baby for walks and on local outings/to classes as appropriate.
There is an elevator in the building, so the nanny will not need to navigate stairs with the stroller! Driving is not required, and public transportation is easily accessible.
If the nanny needs to drive, there is a preference for street parking (usually available), but the family is willing to reimburse for parking in a garage if needed.
Both parents work from home from time to time, but the nanny will have autonomy and there is a separate nursery space in the home.
Ideal candidates will be warm, proactive, reliable, and strong communicators who are looking to partner with the parents to provide excellent care.
The family would love a nanny that is open to an occasional night or weekend, but it is not a requirement.
