WHAT YOU'LL DO This co-op position offers a great opportunity to experience a NAMR Investment Team role in an exciting, demanding, and fast-paced environment.
The Investment Team is part of BCG's NAMR Client Team which provides analytical support and thought partnership to BCG's leadership to make informed decisions around BCG's client portfolio, investments, and profitability.
The investment team partners with colleagues from other regions, the Global Client Team, and regional and office leadership.
As a result, co-ops receive significant exposure to the overall business and develop networks and working relationships across the organization.
Co-ops are highly valued, fully contributing members of our team and receive significant responsibility and work with many cross functional teams (including Consulting, Regional and Local Finance, Functional Teams, BCG X, and numerous senior leadership members) within BCG.
Through a combination of valuable hands-on work experience, training, and mentoring, our co-ops experience rapid professional growth.
Our co-ops will gain exposure to and help support several high visibility topics across the team to ensure we are supporting our priority clients and driving commercial efforts.
This may include (among other responsibilities) managing investment approvals, conducting quantitative analysis, taking ownership of back-end processes by teaming with finance, codifying best practices, contributing to ad hoc special projects, and improving internal processes.

with a combination of intellectual curiosity, desire for professional growth, and receptiveness to feedback YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS) Preferably a sophomore or above with strong academic performance Good problem solving and analytical skills with an attention to detail Proficient in Excel; experience with PowerPoint, Slack, Outlook, Business Objects, Tableau, or Alteryx a plus Proactive, resourceful, self-starter who takes initiative Prior work/co-op experience a plus Must be currently enrolled in the Northeastern University Co-op program Must be able to work full-time (40 hours/week) throughout the minimum duration of the co-op cycle (January - June) Must be authorized to work in the United States YOU'LL WORK WITH You will work closely with the NAMR Client Team and Global Client Team.
The NAMR Client Team is recognized for the exceptional investment and client service support we provide to our MDPs and client service teams.
You'll partner closely with NAMR Client Team members and Global Client Team members.
In addition, you'll collaborate with colleagues from across the organization, including Finance.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
