Summary:
BFCU is excited to expand our front-line team! We are currently looking for friendly and energetic candidates to provide daily support for our first responder membership at our teller line, in our branch lobby, and over the phone.
Our culture is supportive and collaborative, and focused on quality service over sales and quotas.
Full-time positions include a 37.
5-hour work week from Monday through Friday.
Rotating Saturday schedules allow for either overtime, or time off during the week.

General Description:
Member Service Representatives are responsible for providing an excellent member experience both in-person and electronically, as part of a dynamic branch team.
This includes a combination of relationship building, transaction processing, new account/loan opening, and general member support.
Primary Duties:
Provide outstanding service for existing and potential members.
Assess and process account and transaction needs.
Greet members in-person, and provide a welcoming experience in the branch.
Establish a professional working relationship with all team members.
Educate credit union members on available products and services, including deposit accounts, loans, debit cards, credit cards, and digital banking.
Act as a liaison between members and back-office support.
Refer complex situations to departments and supervisors as needed.
Participate in periodic staff meetings to collaborate with team members, and be better equipped to serve members.
Maintain appropriate cash, supplies, and documentation in the branch.
Perform daily balancing and security procedures.
Stay up to date and knowledgeable of credit union policies and banking regulations, such as consumer compliance, privacy, Bank Secrecy Act, Currently Transaction Reports, Customer Identification Program, and Perform other branch or member service duties from time to time, as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
A friendly, outgoing personality.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
General computer knowledge, with banking system experience a strong plus.
High School Diploma, or equivalent.
A minimum of one year of customer service and cash handling experience, with retail banking a strong plus.
Desire to promote a member-focused environment.
Ability to balance financial transactions and a cash drawer on a daily basis.
Ability to work in the Dorchester, MA office Monday - Friday, with scheduled Saturday coverage.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
