Our client, a university in Boston, is seeking a Faculty Research Coordinator to join their team! This role is 35 hours per week Monday through Friday, lasting approximately 3 months with potential for extension, and paying up to $31/hour.
Interested and qualified candidates are encouraged to apply today!Management of Professorial SearchesCreate, manage, and maintain search records timely and accuratelyCoordinate with the representative on all professorial searchesSend invitations to search committee members and track responsesSet up Dropbox folder, upload orientation materials, and assist others with access as neededManagement of Instructor, Assistant, and Associate SearchesPrimary HMS user and reviewer for all searches in the search portalPrimary reviewer of assistant/associate searches in consultation including:
Review of position descriptions, advertisements, monitoring for:
Appropriate rankTeaching requirementsAppropriate use/placement of logosHMS and affiliate geographic landscapeReview and advise on search committee compositionAssess for diversity metrics in search committee membership, candidate pool, and through the phases of candidate selection processProvide guidance to departments for search ad languageProvide copy of advertisement to the administrative manager for accessibility check and web postingManage initial review of end of search reports; triage to second reviewerAdministrative Management of the Faculty Search PortalPrimary contact for all searches in the portalManage search reports interfacing with appointing departments; triage IT-related questions as neededManage IAA search close processAttend weekly search portal meetingsAdditional skills:
excellent with cloud-based interface platforms and project business management tools; familiarity with Salesforce, Outlook calendar management, and Dropbox.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
