ControllerFacilities Services IndustryThe Controller will lead all day-to-day finance operations and supervise a small team including functional responsibility over accounting, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Work closely with others in the organization not only to educate them regarding finance and accounting procedures but also to explore how the finance function can support program operations.

Responsibilities:
Oversee the month end close process.
Identify and implement enhancements to increase the efficiency, speed, and quality of the close.
Oversee the reconciliation of all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards.
Create, review and post journal entriesEstablish/refine, monitor, and enforce internal controls, policies and procedures.
Partner with other areas of the company to ensure adherence to internal controls.
Coordinate all audit activity.
Collaborate with other finance department managers to support overall department goals and objectives.
Provide direct supervision and leadership for the accounting and accounts payable staff.
Position Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience successfully leading and managing a finance/accounting department.
Strong in-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
A foundation in public accounting is strongly preferredExperience in a fast paced services environment is idealType:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
